H. Anderson, Transitional Kinder

I am so very excited to be teaching at HES. Teaching has been a dream of mine since I was in Kindergarten! I think school is so much fun and my goal is for my students to feel the same way! Outside of school, I am very busy with my family. My husband, Sean, and I have three kids, Sierra, Brandon and Peyton. My favorite thing to do is watch my kids do their activities, from sports to dance to acting in plays. I also love to watch professional sports, especially the Giants!!

J. Bast, Kindergarten

I have always had a passion for working with children and being able to be a positive role model to the youth. When I am not teaching, I am an avid Bay Area sports fan. Two of my biggest passions in life are teaching and the San Francisco Giants. I also enjoying spending time with my family and being able to explore the beauty of Northern California.

A. Pacheco, Kindergarten
I love encouraging students to be life long learners. It's important for me to nurture independence and confidence in all my students.

A. Alcocer, 1st Grade

I. Figueroa, 1st Grade
The best thing about teaching is being able to make a difference in a child's life. I have the best job in the world.

J. Patalano, 1st/2nd Grade
My favorite part about teaching is watching students explore, create, inquire and collaborate. Teaching has given me the opportunity to positively change the lives of my students. When I'm not at school, I am spending time with my family, friends and dog. I enjoy camping, hiking and swimming. I am so fortunate to be able to do what I love!

M. Alcala, 2nd Grade
I've lived in Healdsburg for about 20 years and my three children have attended HUSD schools. I've been a teacher for HUSD for 17 years. I'm bilingual and love traveling.

B. Hatten, 2nd Grade
When I'm not at work, I enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and kayaking. Sonoma County is such a beautiful place to spend time outdoors.

K. Bronder-Reynolds, 3rd Grade
When I am not at school I enjoy water skiing with my son and daughter. I also am a personal trainer and love exercise.

J. Schrichfield, 3rd Grade
I love using technology in the classroom and I hope to incorporate more ways to use it every year.  I’m an avid reader, often staying up too late because I’m completely captivated by the story.

A. Beseda, 3rd Grade

K. Robinson, 4/5th Grade
I love to spend time with my dog Pippa and my family. The best part of my job is working with our GREAT student’s everyday!

D. Nuñez, 4/5th Grade
When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two kids. My kids keep me busy with their 4-H and FFA projects as well as sports. We love camping, fishing, and riding our ATV’s.

M. Shamim, 5th Grade
I feel very lucky to teach fifth grade at Fitch Mountain Campus. Fifth graders are enthusiastic learners, ready to pursue their interests both independently and in groups.  When I am not at school, I enjoy hiking, reading, gardening, and listing to music.

S. Bandula, K-2 SDC

For as long as I can remember I have wanted to be a teacher. School never came easy to me but it was a safe and happy place for me to learn and grow. Nothing is more rewarding than being able to provide similar experiences for my students; a welcoming environment for all types of learners to discover their place in this big wide world and flourish. When I am not influencing young minds, you can find me in the gym building muscles and confidence in myself and others interested in learning and growing in a completely different way.

E. Donau Sinclair, K-2 RSP/Intervention

I love teaching and watching students grow, both academically and socially. Facilitating this process teaches me new things every day. When I am not in the classroom, I love traveling and making my own discoveries.

A. Aguayo, Intervention

Teaching is my passion. Having the opportunity to teach students and watching them excel academically is my dream. When I'm not teaching, I love being with my family, going on hikes and dancing.

E. Hanson, 3-5 SDC

D. Mascik, 3-5 RSP/Intervention
Since moving to Healdsburg from Ohio in 2011, I enjoy the beautiful surroundings every day and like being active in the community. The things I love most about teaching are challenging my students to do their best, helping to build their confidence, and watching them grow as individuals.
