Angelica Aguayo

A. Aguayo, Spanish
Teaching is my passion. Having the opportunity to teach students and watching them excel academically is my dream. When I'm not teaching, I love being with my family, going on hikes and dancing.

Maggie Alcala

M. Alcala, 2nd Grade
I've lived in Healdsburg for about 20 years and my three children have attended HUSD schools. I've been a teacher for HUSD for 17 years. I'm bilingual and love traveling.

Holly Anderson H. Anderson, Transitional Kindergarten Evelyn Ashleigh

E. Ashleigh, Kindergarten
When I'm not having fun teaching, I love to run, read, dance, paint, and explore outside. One day I hope to illustrate a children's book.

Aaron Beseda

A. Beseda, 4th Grade
I'm a gardener, camper, fisher and hiker. I'm a little bit of ornery mixed with obsessive, but my family has stuck with me so I guess I've "made growth" (however, I'd like to view it as being very passionate about many things). The scariest and most amazing part of teaching is knowing that each of your students is someone's "whole world". They come to us with different personalities and abilities and the only way to do right by our families is to try to help each one of them improve and become their best version of themselves.

Karen Bronder-Reynolds

K. Bronder-Reynolds, 3rd Grade
When I am not at school I enjoy water skiing with my son and daughter. I also am a personal trainer and love exercise.

Stephanie Coventry

Emma Donau Sinclair

E. Donau Sinclair, RSP Teacher
I love teaching and watching students grow, both academically and socially. Facilitating this process teaches me new things every day. When I am not in the classroom, I love traveling and making my own discoveries.

Irma Figueroa

I. Figueroa, 3rd Grade
The best thing about teaching is being able to make a difference in a child's life. I have the best job in the world.

Emily Hanson

E. Hanson, RSP Teacher

Becky Hatten

B. Hatten, 2nd Grade
When I'm not at work, I enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and kayaking. Sonoma County is such a beautiful place to spend time outdoors.

Adelyn Lyon

A. Lyon, 5th Grade

Sandi Mazza

S. Mazza, Reading Specialist/InterventionI love helping students become better readers. My passion lies in igniting a love for reading that grows out of exposure, competence, and confidence. The most impactful influence in reading growth is reading more. By filling learning gaps and sharing my enthusiasm for quality children’s literature through my extensive collection, I aim to inspire and motivate my students to become avid readers for life.

Danette McCormick

D. McCormick, RSP Teacher
Since moving to Healdsburg from Ohio in 2011, I enjoy the beautiful surroundings every day and like being active in the community. The things I love most about teaching are challenging my students to do their best, helping to build their confidence, and watching them grow as individuals.

Aida Pacheco

I love encouraging students to be life long learners. It's important for me to nurture independence and confidence in all my students.

My favorite part about teaching is watching students explore, create, inquire and collaborate. Teaching has given me the opportunity to positively change the lives of my students. When I'm not at school, I am spending time with my family, friends and dog. I enjoy camping, hiking and swimming. I am so fortunate to be able to do what I love!
