College Admission Requirements
Important information for parents of incoming transitional and regular kindergarten students.
Students who are enrolling in Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 school year are required to have their fifth birthday on or before September 1, 2022. For more information, please refer to: http://www.cde.ca.gov/ci/gs/em/kindergartenfaq.asp.
Students who are enrolling in Transitional Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 school year are required to have their fifth birthday between September 2, 2022 and February 2, 2023. For more information, please go to: http://www.cde.ca.gov/ci/gs/em/kinderfaq.asp.
Students must have proof of all immunizations required by California law before they can start school. Please bring your student's immunization record when you register for kindergarten. For more information about school immunization requirements and resources, please visit the California Department of Public Health’s website at www.shotsforschool.org
Healthy Kids Make Better Learners
Now there is a new opportunity for children, regardless of immigration status, to enroll in health coverage and have access to care. Soon all children younger than 19 whose families meet the income guidelines will qualify for benefits under Medi-Cal, whether they are documented or not. Medi-Cal coverage provides free or low cost care including medical, dental, vision and mental health services. Medi-Cal enrollment is available year round.
